Well, for the first time in more than 15 years, our heating system is taking a bit of a savasana.

In short, a part stopped working today which is making it basically "not hot." While we know this TOTALLY stinks, we obviously need to let you know.

The part that we need will hopefully be here on Thursday. Yes, we wish it was sooner. Yes, we are also grateful it's Thursday.

For Wednesday (tomorrow) November 5th, we've made the following schedule adjustments:

➡️ 6am OHY - cancelled

➡️ 8am Hot Pilates - on as scheduled

➡️ 9:30am Vinyasa - on as scheduled

➡️ 12pm Sculpt - on as scheduled

➡️ 4:30pm OHY will change to 5pm Hot Hour. This is to keep things moving with less time in between postures to cool down

➡️ 6:30pm Sculpt - on as scheduled

Realistically Thursday morning will be affected too, but we'll still plan to hold:

➡️ 6am Hot Pilates - on as scheduled

➡️ 7:30am Sculpt - on as scheduled

Obviously the classes that we're holding will not have the Hometown heat; however, we will be cranking the humidity!

Rest assured that our HVAC team knows how important this is to get fixed as soon as humanly possible, and they're on it. We'll send out another update Thursday morning.

Here's the thing: it's ok to feel disappointed AND also to not let something like this steal your peace. In the whole grand scheme of things, this is a small blip, something that has the potential to do so much, should you be open to it. It can allow you realize something new about your practice. It can cause you appreciate the heat more than you ever thought possible. And of course, it can inspire you to take charge of the things you can control while releasing what you cannot.

For me, it's another clear indicator that all signs point to 19 Erie Drive. 😉

June 19, 2025

Before I opened the studio back in 2010, I had this vision, this dream really, of a place that people could get to as easily as their own backyards. A place that would feel like home but also would feel like an escape from home. A place where they could do something that would help them feel physically better, and in the process of doing so, they'd develop unwavering self-love and deep compassion for others.

As it turned out, the most hidden building in all of Natick had the potential to be this very place.

And even in those early years with just a few small classes per day, the people who showed up felt better, they developed that self-love, and they established the foundation for our compassionate community.

I know deep in my soul that when people show up to class, what they're really doing is saving their own lives one drop of sweat at a time.

Sound extreme? Maybe it is. But it's also true.

Whether it's overcoming addiction, handling cancer treatments, coming back after surgery, or simply gaining patience and clarity, the members of this community - that's you - have made these four walls up on the third floor of the most hidden building in Natick the space about which I dreamed.

Over the past couple of years, we've had this waitlist problem. Some people say that's a great problem to have, but the way I see it is that the people on the waitlist need that particular class because their lives depend on it.

So we've added classes.

11am pop ups on Sundays.

7:30am & 8am classes during the week.

6:15am pop ups on Saturdays (who knew?!).

And while these classes are great and we will continue to offer them, it's not lost on me that what we really need is a bigger space.

We need two hot rooms so that we can offer more than one class at high demand times.

More bathrooms wouldn't hurt either.

And we need more showers, plain and simple.

You've shown up so powerfully these past 15 years that we need more room to better serve this mighty hometown.

You roll out your mat on the hard days.

You go the extra mile in class.

You get back in the posture with sweat dripping from your head to your toes.

You shout, "YOU GOT THIS" to your neighbor during that final set of Mountain Climbers even when your tank has long been emptied.

You're gritty and hard-working and you embrace discomfort because you know the challenge is going to help you grow.

We see you.

And we see that this hometown community right here needs a bigger space to thrive.

So you know what?

We went out and got one.

That's right. In order for us to be here for you in the best, most powerful way possible, WE'LL BE MOVING TO A BIGGER SPACE BY THE END OF THIS YEAR!

Where you ask?

19 ERIE DRIVE
ONE TENTH OF A MILE AWAY,
RIGHT IN THE VERY SAME OFFICE PARK!

The space will have two yoga rooms...
More bathrooms...
And yes, more showers as well.

This feels a bit like announcing a pregnancy - ha! - I wanted to keep it quiet at the beginning, and now it's time to share. The demolition of the space is complete, and our construction will begin soon. We are slated for a 4-5 month build-out during which time we will have our normal schedule at 6 Huron Drive.

I'm thrilled to share this process with you: pictures and videos of the renovation, lessons I've learned (and will continue to learn!) along the way, and exciting additions that we will be making.

At the end of an announcement, I know it's a "best practice" to give a call to action.

Here it is:

Continue to show up.
Book your next class.
Block your calendar.
Do whatever you need to do to make sure you get on your mat the next chance you get.

With so much love, appreciation, excitement, and a bit of adrenaline,
